Final Remarks
- From the two options for creating Qt-projects on NetBeans the regular one is by far preferrable - it is independent of the internal 'Makefiles' and their behavior.
- NetBeans is now an additional powerful option to create C/C++ projects with different GUIs. It has the nice feature that it does not press a certain directory structure onto you, but uses 'Logical Folders'.
- Nevertheless, you are encouraged to look into the possibilities of other IDEs such as 'Eclipse', 'KDevelop', etc.
- For really big projects the freedom of designing projects with your own make-files and the Automake/Autoconfigure tools of GNU cannot be replaced by any IDE - if you have the time to get used to it.
- You can contact me under 'h.rogalla@tsseshop.com' - with no promiss that I will have the time to answer, but with best intensions.
