The tutorial was developed on a Compac Presario 2.5GHz with 1Gb RAM running XUbuntu 8.04 (hardy) and NetBeans 6.1 with the C/C++ Pack and Sun JDK 1.6.0\_05.
The first version of this 'Mini-How-To' was written in some free time during a blizzard in Colorado shortly before Christmas in 2006. The second version was written in autumn 2008 in the same place.
